WHAT IS THE CHORE PROGRAM?

Our Chore Program addresses lawn maintenance and snow removal for senior citizens and adults with disabilities in the City of Muscatine. Extreme temperatures and dangerous conditions can put seniors at risk, both physically and financially. Eliminate this risk and allow our chore providers to care for these needs so you don’t have to.

ELIGIBILITY, FEES, & FUNDING

To receive chore services from Senior Resources, Inc., you must be at least 60 years of age or older. You must reside within Muscatine city limits. Chore recipients must live in the home for which they receive chore assistance.

An income-determined sliding fee scale determines fees for Chore services.

Our Chore Coordinator will assist you in determining eligibility, options, and scheduling needs.

Additional funding for the Chore program comes from the City of Muscatine, private contributions, and the United Way of Muscatine, Iowa.
